A number of Xbox players are reporting that they've received notifications that Baldur's Gate 1 and 2 — perhaps Baldur's Gate and Baldur's Gate II: Enhanced Editions — are available with Xbox Game Pass, despite the fact that neither game is in the Game Pass library yet.

Baldur's Gate 1 and 2 could be set to join Xbox Game Pass

Over on Twitter X, Idle Sloth has shared images of screenshots Xbox players have received about Baldur's Gate 1 and 2 joining Xbox Game Pass. Likewise, on Reddit a number of players are reporting having received the same notifications that Baldur's Gate 1 and 2 have been added to the Game Pass library.

There's been no official word yet about these games joining Xbox Game Pass, but Xbox players are hopeful that an announcement will be made soon, especially while Baldur's Gate 3 appears to continue to have difficulties on the Xbox side of things, with Larian Studios saying Baldur's Gate 3 on Xbox may require "compromises" due to Series S. That being said, CEO Swen Vincke commented just the other day that the Xbox Series S "just takes development effort".

We'll keep an eye out for any potential announcement of more games coming to Game Pass.
