Bless Unleashed servers to close in November

By Sean Carey,

Bandai Namco has announced that servers for Bless Unleashed, a free-to-play MMORPG that launched just two years ago, will close in November.

In a blog post, the Bless Unleashed team revealed that its agreement with developer Round8 is coming to an end, and soon it will no longer be able to support the game. Servers for Bless Unleashed are set to close on November 30th at 11am PT / 2pm ET / 6pm GMT, and with it being an online-only game, all of its achievements will be discontinued once the server closure hits.

"We've been publishing Bless Unleashed in partnership with Round8 since 2020, and we've enjoyed our time with our wonderful players," the team said. "Unfortunately, this time is coming to an end. Our agreement with Round8 has come to an end, and we will not be able to continue supporting the game.

"This was a hard decision for us, but we will be closing the servers at the end of November."

Starting from September 1st, "Lumena and other items" will no longer be purchasable from the Xbox Store. On the same date, all items in the in-game Lumena shop will be discounted to one Lumena. The team says it will continue to run in-game GM events up until the server closure.

Bless Unleashed looks to be a tricky and time-consuming completion. Out of the 25,000 tracked users on TrueAcheivements, just 56 have managed to unlock all 43 Bless Unleashed achievements. Unfortunately, we don't have enough data to offer a completion estimate, but it looks like it will take you several hundred hours for the full 1,000G.
