Following the changes introduced in Update 1.1 last month, Blizzard will return the Leave Dungeon cast time to three seconds in next week's patch on August 8 — a significant change for Hardcore Diablo IV characters. Alongside that, many other fixes will be introduced, including some heavy balancing tweaks to Sorcerers and Barbarians.

Diablo IV Update 1.1.1 arrives on Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One next week

Update 1.1.1 will roll out to all Xbox players on August 8, and according to the patch notes, we'll see the Leave Dungeon cast time returned to three seconds, instead of the five seconds that was introduced last month. The "Leave Dungeon ability was being used as another method of easy escape from danger in dungeons, particularly for Hardcore players," Blizzard says. "However, we recognize that this is outweighed by the downside of the game feeling less responsive. We’ve heard your feedback and are reversing this change."

We'll also see Barbarians and Sorcerers receive some significant balancing tweaks with this update, alongside some smaller changes to each of the other classes. The Sorcerer's late-game survivability has been targeted via improvements to the Paragon Board, while adjustments have been made to move away from its Kiss-Curse effects. As for the Barbarian, basic skills will generate more Fury so combat flows better on lower-level characters, and increases to Unique items' power should make the Barbarian feel stronger in the late-game.

Other notable changes coming next week include a new stacking limit for Elixirs, which will increase from 20 to 99, while another Stash tab will be added, and the Resource Burn, Backstabbers, and Empowered Elites (Cold Enchanted) Nightmare Dungeon affixes will be removed.

The increase to the Elixir stacking limit and the additional Stash tab are just a couple of the changes Blizzard is introducing as the team continues "figuring out" how to add more storage to Diablo IV.
