FIFA 23 joins Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and EA Play next week

By Sean Carey,

It's good news for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and EA Play subscribers, as EA has announced that FIFA 23 will be joining both services next week.

Despite EA closing servers for various legacy FIFA games, it's not all doom and gloom from the publisher. EA has also confirmed that FIFA 23 will be slide-tackling its way onto Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and EA Play on May 16th.

FIFA 23 coming to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and EA Play on May 16th

Much like with last year's release, we should have two stacks of the FIFA 23 achievements hit both Game Pass and EA Play next week.

On paper, the achievement list looks like it will put up a bit of a challenge, with its estimated completion time of 80-100 hours and multiple online achievements for Volta Football, Pro Clubs, and FIFA Ultimate Team, but hey, to quote legendary manager Ted Lasso (who, alongside AFC Richmond, does feature in the game): "Taking on a challenge is a lot like riding a horse, isn't it? If you're comfortable while you're doing it, you're probably doing it wrong."

Will you be checking out FIFA 23 when it hits Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and EA Play next week? Let us know!
