If you still need to unlock any achievements in the free-to-play multiplayer FPS, you will want to get a move on, as Bandai Namco is closing Gundam Evolution's servers on November 29, 2023. As it's an online-only game, all of the Gundam Evolution achievements will be discontinued once the server closure hits.

Gundam Evolution servers closing November 29

"It is with great sadness that we are announcing the conclusion of Gundam Evolution," executive producer Kazuya Maruyama said in a statement. "The game's service will end on November 29, 2023 (PST). We wanted to create a title that brought FPS fans and Gundam fans together. We challenged ourselves to create an authentic Gundam FPS game that could be played globally.

"Unfortunately, we have determined that it is no longer possible for us to provide a service that satisfies our players. We want to express our gratitude to everyone who has played the game and supported us to this point. At the same time, we would like to sincerely apologize to our fans and players."

As of July 26, 2023, Bandai Namco says it's ending sales of Evo Coins, EC Pod Limited, and ending updates to EX Pods, Cap Pods, and Ticket Pods, though "after the end of sales, Evo Coins that players currently own will be usable until the end of service." The publisher also notes that it will create more opportunities "for players to earn Capital Points through login bonuses, events, and campaigns, so they will have the chance to unlock and enjoy the new units."

Despite the server closure, Bandai Namco will continue to roll out updates with Season 6, which will add a new unit and two new maps on August 23. The final season, kicking off on October 25, will also add a new unit and map.

As for the Gundam Evolution achievements, estimates suggest it takes around 60 hours to unlock all 12. As with most free-to-play games, the achievements require a fair amount of grinding to complete, and most of that 60 hours will be spent trying to reach Gold Rank and earning enough XP to hit level 50.
