Ubisoft to close servers of three more games in 2023

By Sean Carey,

Ubisoft is to shut down online services for another three of its games next year. Servers for Just Dance 2016, Just Dance 2017, and Just Dance 2018 are scheduled to close in June 2023.

In a new update from Ubisoft, online services for Just Dance 2016, Just Dance 2017, and Just Dance 2018 will close on June 30th, 2023. Ubisoft also announced in a separate post server closures for eight Xbox 360 games, including various Assassin's Creed games, Far Cry 3, Splinter Cell: Blacklist, and more.

Ubisoft to shutdown servers for legacy Just Dance games in 2023

Just Dance server closures

Just Dance 2016, Just Dance 2017, and Just Dance 2018 are available on both Xbox 360 and Xbox One, but the servers for the 360 versions of these titles were previously closed in 2018. These new server shutdowns will discontinue numerous online achievements across the three games, so if you still need to unlock any, you'd better put on your dancing shoes and start shimmying towards some completions before the server closure strikes on June 30th, 2023. Ubisoft also notes that Just Dance Unlimited subscriptions will also be incompatible with these games after this date.

It's also worth noting that all three of these legacy Just Dance titles have been delisted from the Microsoft Store, so if you want to complete them and you don't already own them digitally, you're going to need to pick up physical copies.

Do you still need to complete these three before their servers are shut down on June 30th, 2023? Let us know down in the comments.

Thanks to lor for the news tip!
