Norco Xbox Game Pass release delayed indefinitely

By Sean Carey,

Publisher Raw Fury has announced that the console and Xbox Game Pass release of Norco has been delayed and will no longer launch next week as planned.

Norco is currently available on PC and with PC Game Pass, but last month, Raw Fury revealed the highly-acclaimed point-and-click adventure game would be coming to Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Xbox Game Pass on October 20th. Now, Norco on console has been delayed indefinitely.

Norco Game Pass and Xbox console release delayed

"Due to some unforeseen issues we will not be able to release Norco for consoles on Oct 20th as planned," Raw Fury said on Twitter. "We will share a new date once it has been determined."

Norco is a "southern gothic point & click narrative adventure that immerses the player in the sinking suburbs and verdant industrial swamps of a distorted South Louisiana." After your mother's death, your brother Blake goes missing, and it's up to you to find him by following a fugitive security android through "refineries, strip malls, and drainage ditches of suburban New Orleans."

Released earlier this year on PC, Norco received a flood of excellent reviews from both critics and fans. On Metacritic, the game sits with an 89 Metascore, while over on Steam, overall reviews score the game as 'Very Positive.'
