Palworld seemingly delayed on Xbox

By Heidi Nicholas,

Summer Game Fest continues its deluge of reveals and announcements with a new trailer for Palworld, which seems to confirm a delay for Xbox.

Chaotic open-world multiplayer survival crafting game (phew) Palworld has just shown off a new trailer as part of Summer Game Fest, which is set to arrive in Early Access in January 2024, but only for Steam. Palworld was initially given a 2023 release window for Xbox, but the new trailer only mentions a Steam Early Access release for next year.

The new trailer gives us a brief and action-packed look at the bizarre world of the Pals (those Pokémon-type creatures) and shows us a variety of Pal (those Pokémon-type creatures). The world of the Pal seems pretty alarming — sure, you can have your Pals help with farming, or breed them, but you can also hurl them into battles, send them to work in factories, sell them, or even kill them to eat, apparently.

Will you be checking out Palworld when it launches into Early Access in January 2024? Let us know in the comments!
