Popular Xbox games — February 13th, 2023

Our latest Gameplay Chart of popular Xbox games shows Hogwarts Legacy shooting into the top five while Hot Wheels Unleashed breaks into the top 15 — check out the full list here!

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II, Fortnite, and Minecraft remain unmoved in first, second, and third, but Hogwarts Legacy has shot up from 26th to fourth after its full launch a few days ago, when more players were able to get their hands on it following the preorder early access period. Hogwarts Legacy has pushed Grand Theft Auto V to fifth, which in turn has booted FIFA 23 to sixth. Overwatch 2, which looked set to drop out of the top ten last week, has pulled itself back to seventh, while Rocket League, Rainbow Six Siege, and Apex Legends round out the rest of the top ten.

Hot Wheels Unleashed makes its debut appearance at 12th after joining Xbox Game Pass several days ago, while things aren't looking as good for Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition, which has dropped from seventh to 16th. The console version of the game joined Game Pass a few weeks ago, suggesting Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition is suffering a common fate for Game Pass additions, which see an initial boost after joining the service, before players move onto something else. Likewise, Monster Hunter Rise is still in the top 20 at 19th, while GoldenEye 007 has dropped nine places to 20th, and surprise launch Hi-Fi Rush has fallen out of the top 15 to 21st. Lower down we see Opus: Echo of Starsong - Full Bloom Edition, which makes its debut appearance at 29th after being included in the latest Xbox Game Pass Quests. Madden NFL 22 reappears in the chart at 31st, while Call of Duty: Black Ops III makes its reappearance at 37th. High On Life is almost out, having dropped from 31st to 39th, with just Smite below at 40th. Looking ahead, we've got plenty of games coming to Game Pass, as well as big releases like Wild Hearts later in the month too. What do you think will make it to the top ten next?
