GTA V still sits in first place while Fortnite has lost another spot, as Modern Warfare 2 moves into second. Exoprimal, which launched into Xbox Game Pass just days ago, is already in sixth, knocking Diablo 4 down to seventh. Then we have a wave of games falling down the chart until Call of Duty: Black Ops II makes a sudden reappearance in the top 40 at 17th. It's not alone; several Xbox 360 Call of Duty games have seen a huge spike in players after server fixes. Halo MCC is doing well just below, having hopped up from 24th to 18th after a huge update with new features, while Fall Guys has, well, fallen, dropping three places to 19th. The next big change is Monster Sanctuary making its debut appearance at 28th after being included in the latest Xbox Game Pass Weekly Quests, as was Ghost Recon: Wildlands, which re-joins the chart just below at 29th. Need for Speed Unbound has taken a big tumble, dropping from 17th to 31st, while Modern Warfare 2 (2009) takes its place below at 32nd. Call of Duty: Black Ops appears a few spots below at 35th, continuing the CoD resurgence, with Smite reappearing in the top 40 at 38th.

It's been a CoD-heavy week for the Gameplay Chart — the rest of the month sees more games coming to Game Pass as well as big launches like F1 Manager 2023. What do you expect to see in the top ten next?
