Popular Xbox games — June 25, 2023

Diablo IV drops out of the top five in our latest Gameplay Chart of popular Xbox games, while Overwatch 2 falls out of the top ten and older games re-join the top 40.

The first four games on our chart aren't budging from last week's places, but FIFA 23 and Diablo 4 have switched places so that FIFA 23 is at fifth and Diablo 4 is at sixth. Overwatch 2 has fallen out of the top ten to land at 12th after the start of Season 5, but when Invasion arrives in August it'll be the game's "biggest update ever" — so it's likely we'll see Overwatch 2 fare better then. Just below, Need for Speed Unbound re-joins the top 40 at 16th after joining Game Pass last week. The Outer Worlds has likewise re-joined the top 40, coming in at 21st after being included in the latest Xbox Game Pass Weekly Quests. After The Outer Worlds, we have a slew of games falling down the chart until we reach 28th, where 7 Days to Die has re-joined the top 40 after it too was included in those weekly quests. A big Fallout 76 update might be why we're seeing it re-join the top 40 this week at 33rd — it's not such good news for Hogwarts Legacy, however, which has fallen six spots this week to 35th. Lastly, Warframe has just managed to re-join the top 40 this week.

Looking ahead, we have some games coming to Game Pass like F.I.S.T: Forged in Shadow Torch, with major launches like Exoprimal following in early July. Could any of these appear on next week's chart? Let us know your thoughts down in the comments.
