Popular Xbox games: March 13th, 2023

Our latest Gameplay Chart of popular Xbox games shows Hogwarts Legacy falling out of the top five, with new appearances further down the chart — check out the full list here!

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II, Fortnite, and Minecraft remain unchallenged in first, second, and third place, while Hogwarts Legacy has dropped from fourth to eighth. Single-player games always seem to have a much shorter shelf-life on our Gameplay Chart, and one explanation for Hogwarts Legacy's fall might be that players are finishing up with the game's story. Rainbow Six Siege has managed to skate back into the top ten at ninth after featuring in the latest Free Play Days games, knocking Apex Legends out, which has fallen to 11th. Halo Infinite has fared better this week, hopping up three places to 14th, but it's not such good news for Atomic Heart, which has dropped from eighth to 16th. Lower down, we have this week's first new appearance with Guilty Gear Strive at 20th after it joined Game Pass last week — if you're looking for more in that vein, Luke put together a round-up of every Xbox Game Pass fighting game ranked. Elden Ring, meanwhile, has dropped two places to 22nd, while Dead by Daylight has jumped up three spaces to 27th. Signalis is the other of this week's new appearances, making its debut at 28th after it featured in the latest Game Pass weekly quests. This week's two reappearances are Overcooked! 2 at 36th — it was also featured in those latest weekly Game Pass quests — and The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition, which features on our list of the best Game Pass games, at 38th.
