Popular Xbox games: March 20th, 2023

Our latest Gameplay Chart of popular Xbox games shows Hogwarts Legacy and Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty falling out of the top ten — check out the full list here!

The top five hasn't budged this week, but there's a lot of reshuffling going on further down the chart — it looks like more players are finishing up with Hogwarts Legacy, which has dropped out of the top ten, falling from eighth to 12th, and it's a similar story for Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty, which has plummeted from sixth to 15th. Atomic Heart continues to fall, dropping from 16th to 18th, but Sea of Thieves has sailed up five spots to 20th. Just below, Civilization VI makes its first appearance at 24th after joining Game Pass, while Slime Rancher 2 has its debut appearance at 27th after featuring in the latest Xbox Game Pass Quests. In between we see Elden Ring — Bandai Namco recently shared some interesting gameplay stats, but it seems Elden Ring has dropped a little this week, falling from 22nd to 25th. Things are quieter throughout the rest of the chart, with games shuffling up and down to make room for the big changes, until we get to 40th, where Far Cry 5 has reappeared following its free 60fps update.

Looking ahead, we could see some big changes coming to the chart — we have big Game Pass additions like Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom – The Prince's Edition on the way, along with major releases like Capcom's Resident Evil 4 remake.
