Popular Xbox games — March 6th, 2023

Our latest Gameplay Chart of popular Xbox games shows Hogwarts Legacy moving up while Atomic Heart tumbles out of the top three — check out the full list here!

Atomic Heart pushed Hogwarts Legacy out of the top three last week, but things are looking decidedly different now: Hogwarts Legacy has moved up a space to fourth while Atomic Heart has tumbled from third to eighth. Just above, new Xbox Game Pass addition Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty breaks into the top ten at seventh (if you've started this one up, check out Luke's guide to how to get a 4* gear set early). We have a wave of games falling down the chart to make room — apart from Halo Infinite, which has managed to stay put at 17th, we don't see a game breaking that downward wave until Elden Ring, which has managed to move up two spaces to 20th. Sea of Thieves has sailed up a spot to 24th, meanwhile, and the game's anniversary celebrations might help it move up still higher. Somerville has made its debut appearance in the top 40 at 27th, after being included in the latest Xbox Game Pass Weekly Quests. Hot Wheels Unleashed has taken a bit of a tumble, dropping seven places to 31st, most likely as Game Pass players move on to a newer addition. It's better news for F1 22, which is making its first top 40 appearance at 34th after becoming available for Game Pass Ultimate and EA Play members. Season 12 has just kicked off in Fallout 76, which might explain how it's re-joined the chart at 38th, but Monster Hunter Rise, on the other hand, is close to dropping out, having fallen 11 spaces to 40th.
