Capcom delays Xbox Series X|S game Pragmata indefinitely

By Heidi Nicholas,

Capcom's showcase brings us the news that its new IP, dystopian action-adventure game Pragmata, has been delayed again — this time indefinitely.

Pragmata was one of our guesses for what could be shown at Capcom's showcase — it did appear, and with a new trailer, but it also confirmed an indefinite delay. Check out the trailer below.

Capcom indefinitely delays Pragmata "with a heavy heart"

"Pragmata is an all-new action adventure title that depicts a near-future dystopian world on the moon through a deeply profound story and setting. The game will take full advantage of next-generation platform features, and as a completely new IP for Capcom, the company aims to establish Pragmata as one of its core brands," the game's Xbox page tells us.

In the trailer, the little girl Diana drops a note confirming the delay, adding, "very sorry." Capcom also shared a statement: "It is with a heavy heart that we must further postpone the release of Pragmata. Our team is currently hard at work making the best game that we possibly can, but we need more time. We will continue to do our best to ensure that the final product is one that is worthy of your patience. Thank you for your continued support."
