Let's be honest, most of us are here because this can be completed in about half an hour. For most people, a video walkthrough will be enough to forget about this once they've netted the full thousand.

Space Science Investigations is another NASA game, aiming to explore and explain (and to an extent simulate) what it's like to be an astronaut aboard the International Space Station. It's packed with tidbits about astronauts and their training routines and tasks accompanied by videos you'll access on a tablet, which acts as your main menu of sorts.

The game plays around with a recreation of the actual ISS, separated by different colour-coded regions which you can traverse to at will. There are even a few minigames to get your head around, which most won't find too challenging.

In fact... most of the game isn't much of a challenge. It's not like you'd be expecting a Dark Souls game here, but the more hardcore among you will probably feel rather impassive about the tasks you're given, and much of the runtime is taken up by videos and very simple minigames. Don't expect much in the way of gameplay depth when one of your tasks involves waiting for a shuttle to pan into view of a camera.

The graphics aren't anything to write home about, but the game plays smoothly. I'd personally recommend setting your controls onto the slow setting to avoid wayward movement, and I feel like it captures the sense of slow movement in zero-gravity better.

With all that said and done, this was meant to inform and teach first and foremost, and I'd say it does just that. So there you have it - it might not have much in the way of entertainment value, but you'll finish this game with some out of this world trivia alongside your 1000 Gamerscore.

(I had to have one pun in here with all the free space wink)
