I first got this on Steam and enjoyed what I played there. When I heard it was coming to Gamepass I was already sold. Needless to say I bought it and have enjoyed every part of this game.
Vampire Survivors has a very simple and retro look, but uses that to amp up everything else. There are tons of unlocks and lots of secrets to uncover as you play this over and over again.
The main game is not priced badly (it was $4.99 for the main game when I bought it and the price is the same as of this writing). The DLC are also very cheap and provide additional achievements.
Game play is pretty simple... you move around and the character auto shoots. Not much more than that. Upgrades in stage (temporary) and new weapons are select-able (once unlocked) as you kill enemies and collect XP gems.
While early on this may be difficult, you will quickly feel overpowered and the time limited play per stage (you can select endless later on once you unlock it) will go by fast. The initial time limit before unavoidable (or is it) death comes for you is 30 minutes, but it will feel like 5.
Even after getting everything unlocked and having got all achievements I still find myself coming back to this again and again.
