Roots of Pacha delayed to 2023

By Heidi Nicholas,

Roots of Pacha, which looks to be a charming farming and life sim game, has been delayed out of 2022 and into early 2023.

Roots of Pacha, which takes farming back to the stone age, was set to launch later this year, but has been delayed into early 2023 to allow the devs more time "to deliver the experience we promised and the one we all dreamed of playing."

Roots of Pacha will now be released in early 2023

"We've decided to move Roots of Pacha's release to early 2023," the devs say. "We're incredibly proud of what we've accomplished so far, but we need more time to deliver the experience we promised and the one we all dreamed of playing."

They continue, adding, "Like many games, Roots of Pacha is made with love by a passionate group of individuals. Even though we don't want to disappoint you now, it's far better to release a high-quality polished game with a happy, healthy team at the end."

Roots of Pacha looks extremely promising — if you'd like to learn more, check out our Roots of Pacha interview with developer Soda Den's Timo and Joni.

Roots of Pacha will now launch in early 2023 — the devs say we should have a release date this December. What do you think of the news? Let us know in the comments!
