Site Update: New shareable Xbox Gamercards, plus other features

By Rich Stone,
Last month, we attempted something a little bit bonkers with a new feature being added to the site every day throughout March.

After a well-deserved week of rest and recuperation, the development team are back with some more features and updates that have been requested from the Site Wishlist Forum.

Gamer page share images

Last month we added various dynamic share images for games and achievements, and today we bring another one to the party — Gamer summary images.

Click on the new share icon on the header of your Gamer page to bring up a new image panel:

This shows your current stats, and the 4 most recent games you've been playing.

You can click the download image to download the image and share it around, or you can tweet or share on Reddit directly from those buttons.

Additionally, simply sharing the url of your homepage on any social platform (Facebook, Discord, etc.) will auto-embed your custom image.

Rating filter on sales and product list pages

A highly requested feature over the last few weeks has been a way to filter sale content by average site rating.

We've added a new dropdown for this to the Xbox Sales page, as well as the Latest Xbox Games page.

Show game name on My Achievements pages

Sometimes it can be hard to see what game the achievements are from in your locked and unlocked achievement lists, so we've added a checkbox to include the game name in those results:

Reset to default on all settings pages

We've added links to reset your site settings, homepage settings, gaming sessions settings, and notification settings to those pages.

Give positive feedback to everyone in a session

Our final addition of the day is a button on gaming session feedback pages that you can click to set everyone to Positive feedback. If your session went off without a hitch, click the Everyone was great button before saving your feedback.

Yo! Rich here - I was the one that created TrueAchievements back in 2008 as I felt the Xbox Gamerscore system could be improved. The site has evolved massively since then and it's now the biggest and best Xbox community on the planet! Racing games and open world shooters are my thing, but I'll give most genres a go. Except RPGs - those things are evil.
