Site Feature: Redesigned Site Wishlist forum and extra votes

By Rich Stone,
Those of you that have been closely following the site updates for Community Month will know that most of the ideas for the features have come from the amazing TrueAchievements community.

Some of those were from our new Discord server, but most have been taken from the TrueAchievements Site Wishlist forum.

Today, we are launching a redesign for that forum, and also giving you more votes for the features you'd like us to implement on the site.

More votes

The first thing to say is that we've increased the number of votes you can make on the Site Wishlist forum - TrueAchievements Pro members now have up to 100 votes, and standard accounts can make up to 10.

Secondly, you want to know your votes will count for something - this month has been something of a proof of concept for the newly expanded TGN development team, and we now know we can turn around new site features reasonably quickly. While I'm certainly not promising a new feature every day (this month has been pretty stressful so far!), we will be spending a lot more time going through the Site Wishlist forum and making sure we implement the best ideas - surfacing those to us by voting for the ones you like best will help to steer us towards the features the community cares most about.

A new look for the Site Wishlist forum

As you can see from the screenshot above, or by going to the Site Wishlist forum, we've turned it into more of a Stack Overflow style forum. You can up-vote or down-vote threads from the main forum page, and you can also now see the threads you've already voted on by clicking on that tab at the top of the page.

We hope you like these changes, and have a Happy Mother's Day if you are in the UK!

Yo! Rich here - I was the one that created TrueAchievements back in 2008 as I felt the Xbox Gamerscore system could be improved. The site has evolved massively since then and it's now the biggest and best Xbox community on the planet! Racing games and open world shooters are my thing, but I'll give most genres a go. Except RPGs - those things are evil.
