Site Feature: Share personalised achievement unlocked images

By Rich Stone,
We all have achievements we are proud of unlocking. One of the first site features we ever created was the Trophy Case on your profile for you to place those hard or rare achievements for everyone to see.

But what if you wanted to show off your achievement unlocking skills off-site?

Introducing customised achievement share images

We've created a way for our achievement pages to generate dynamic and customised share images. This means that if you post one of our achievement urls on a social platform that automatically shows page image metadata (such as Discord, Twitter, or Facebook), it will show the dynamic version, including the current TrueAchievement score and the percentage of gamers that have unlocked it:

But that's not all!

Even better than this, if you include your gamerid in the url (this will be included automatically from achievement links on game pages, friend feeds, your gamer menu etc), we'll also show your Gamerpic and tag, and the time you unlocked it:

Now go forth and share the achievements you are most proud of unlocking!

Yo! Rich here - I was the one that created TrueAchievements back in 2008 as I felt the Xbox Gamerscore system could be improved. The site has evolved massively since then and it's now the biggest and best Xbox community on the planet! Racing games and open world shooters are my thing, but I'll give most genres a go. Except RPGs - those things are evil.
