An update for Stranded Deep on Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One in July introduced a bug that would allow players to instantly unlock most of the Stranded Deep achievements. Beam Team Games has now rolled out a patch that fixes the bug, although one achievement still looks to be unobtainable, so you might not be able to grab the completion right now.

The bug in question meant that players would instantly unlock nearly all of Stranded Deep's achievements if they joined co-op sessions with another player who had already unlocked all of the game's achievements themselves. It doesn't look like it had affected the PC version of the game, however, which continues to have a completion estimate of 50 to 60 hours.

Beam Team Games' latest Stranded Deep patch notes show that the bug has now been fixed: "Fixed client (Player 2) unlocking host achievements when joining a multiplayer game." As for the unobtainable Gotta craft them all! achievement, the patch notes don't say anything about fixing it, so a completion may be out of reach for now.

If you have already finished Stranded Deep, why not check out some of the games coming to Game Pass in the future?
