Further reasons for the delay were not explained. The game received a fairly negative reception when its co-op and behind-the-scenes trailers dropped in February, with many players taking issue with its live-service elements, so that could be a factor in Warner Bros' decision. Although Rocksteady has said that the Battle Pass system will only offer cosmetic items, and that new missions and earnable characters would be added over time for free, it seems like it's not quite the game some players were expecting from the developer behind the fantastic Batman: Arkham series.
