The CESA has revealed that Tokyo Game Show will use the entirety of the Makuhari Messe venue for the first time in four years, and Xbox will be attending.

This year, the CESA will be allowing international visitors and children under 12 to attend the Tokyo Game Show, for the first time since the pandemic began, as well as offering family-friendly exhibition areas. This year's event looks like it will be a busy four days as well, with Xbox, Capcom, Bandai Namco, Koei Tecmo, Konami, HoyoVerse, Sega, Square Enix, and more already named on the exhibitor list.

Xbox appeared during the Tokyo Game Show last year, revealing a slew of games coming to Game Pass, including Assassin's Creed Odyssey, Deathloop, Guilty Gear Strive, Fuga: Melodies of Steel, Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmoney, and more. While we'll have to wait until the showcase to learn about this year's slate, we're excited to see what Xbox has in store for us this year!

As reported by VGC, the CESA has revealed that for the first time in four years, the Tokyo Game Show will cover the entirety of the Makuhari Messe.

Last year's show used only a small portion of the venue. “Despite these restrictions, the venue was filled with exhibitors and game fans who had been waiting for the show to be held for real, and the excitement returned to Makuhari Messe,” the CESA said. "The high evaluation of the exhibition by exhibitors and visitors alike made us realize once again the high demand and importance of holding a real exhibition under any circumstances.”

As for other events this year, Microsoft has confirmed that Xbox and Bethesda will be attending Gamescom in August, just over a week before Starfield launches on Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Xbox Game Pass.
