Ubisoft+ still planned for Xbox despite PS Plus partnership By Tom West, 16 May 2022 FollowtopicsTom West Ubisoft has announced that it'll be launching Ubisoft+ Classics for PlayStation Plus subscribers, but fear not, because the full Ubisoft+ subscription service will be coming to Xbox in the future, but probably not Xbox Game Pass.Today's news that a sub-service from Ubisoft: Ubisoft+ Classics, will be available to subscribers on PS5 and PS4 with a PlayStation Plus Premium or Extra subscription, almost certainly shoots down any rumours that the service will be coming to Xbox Game Pass. It's worth noting, though, that seeing the likes of Rainbow Six Extraction, For Honor, Assassin's Creed Origins, and more coming to Game Pass still casts a positive light for players on Xbox and reignites our hope that more Ubisoft games will make their way to the service in the future. The full Ubisoft+ service that currently offers over 100 titles to PC, Stadia, and Amazon Luna users will still be making its way to Xbox and PlayStation consoles in the future as a separate subscription service. Players that subscribe to the service gain access to all of Ubisoft's new releases on day one, including the premium editions which include the games' DLC content. What is Ubisoft+ Classics?Unlike the main subscription offering from Assassin's Creed publisher, Ubisoft+ Classics offers a selection of the company's most popular games. It'll join the PlayStation Plus catalogue of games on May 24th with a lineup of 27 games and plans to grow the list to 50 by the end of the year.
