Ubisoft+ could launch on Xbox soon, Microsoft Store activity suggests

By Sean Carey,

It appears that Ubisoft+ could launch on Xbox consoles soon, as we've found a list of games on the Xbox store that have recently been updated to include a Ubisoft+ tag.

Ubisoft+ was announced for Xbox consoles this time last year, and since then, we haven't heard much about it. Now, it looks like Ubisoft and Xbox could be gearing up to launch the subscription service as a selection of games from the publisher have been updated with a special Ubisoft+ tag that reads "with your Ubisoft+ membership" on the Microsoft Store's back end.

Full list of Ubisoft+ titles coming to Xbox

So far, our scanners have picked up a list of 24 Ubisoft games with the Ubisoft+ tag, including Assassin's Creed Valhalla, Far Cry 6, and Riders Republic. Interestingly, Ubisoft games already included in Game Pass, such as Assassin's Creed Origins, Assassin's Creed Odyssey, Far Cry 5, Rainbow Six Extraction, and others, do not appear to have been tagged as Ubisoft+ games on the store. It's possible that these games might not be included with Ubisoft+ due to existing deals with Microsoft for Game Pass. However, it could simply be that these games, and many, many more, are yet to be updated with the tag. If we spot any more games with the Ubisoft+ tag behind the scenes, we'll update this list.

Games included with Ubisoft+ on Xbox

We've also picked up numerous DLC packs with the same Ubisoft+ tags for some of the games listed above, as Ubisoft+ does include access to DLC expansions.

So far, pricing for Ubisoft+ on Xbox hasn't been announced, nor has a date for when it will finally launch on consoles, but Ubisoft has said the service would not be included with Game Pass. Currently available only on PC, Ubisoft+ gives players access to more than 100 Ubisoft games and includes DLC packs, boosters, in-game items, monthly rewards including cosmetics, and more. Ubisoft+ is also coming to PlayStation consoles in the future, but last year, Playstation Plus subscribers were given access to Ubisoft+ Classics, which includes a selection of Ubisoft games for those subscribed to PS Plus Extra or Premium.

Once we hear more about Ubisoft+ on Xbox, and if we find any more games with the Ubisoft+ tag on the Xbox store, we'll update you.

Will you be subscribing to Ubisoft+ when it finally launches on Xbox? Let us know!
